Customer's Opinion on Sony HDR Camcorder Cx7

Hello Again

Last post you already know Sony HDR Camcorder Cx7 product features & specification. Today you gonna see some comment from customers who own Sony HDR Camcorder Cx7.
I quoted some part of fineartvideo's comment written in Epinions.com. The review indicated that
"...The CX7 can record high definition video to a small Sony memory chip. An 8 gig chip gives about 2 hours in HD mode. A 2 gig chip provides about a half hour. Since there are no moving parts, this is a great camcorder for use in heavy action, on the beach or in humid environments that would cause a tape to choke on the head drum. You can also select regular definition mode in either 4:3 full screen or 16:9 wide screen.
In regular definition, the camcorder produces standard mpg files that can be used in any editing system. The regular mode produces images as crisp as can be expected on a regular TV. In fact, it is the TV that is the limiting factor and not the camcorder. In Hi Def mode, the CX7 creates proprietary MTS files which can be read by only a few select editing systems. Sony's included software is nearly useless and is difficult to use to make anything creative
...The image quality when viewed on an HDTV is simply unbelievably stunning. The color is rich and extremely accurate under most lighting conditions. Outdoors, it is hard to see the difference in image quality between the CX7 and a Sony three chip camcorder. Skin tones are brilliantly movie-like and can be made to look that way in almost any lighting if you are willing to use the manual controls in less than ideal lighting conditions.
You can use the menu system to manually override any of the automatic settings. You can focus, select color balance, and set the exposure all manually if you want to. For those who just want to point and shoot, you can press the easy button and let the camcorder make all the decisions for you, and still get a superb image to boot. In really low light, the image becomes grainy.
In normal room lighting, you still get a clean image, but lower the lights at a wedding reception and you better have a light on the camera. Sony makes a light that uses the hot shoe and draws from the main battery. They also make a wireless mike that uses the hot shoe. The CX7, light and wireless mike make a really neat package that does almost everything well enough to produce professional results.
Although your clients might think you are using a toy if they see you using this camcorder, they will swear you used a professional camcorder when they see the finished product. I used the CX7 to actually shoot a short commercial outdoor job and the results were applauded by the client."
As i read the comment, it can be concluded that Sony HDR Camcorder Cx7 emphasized on the quallty of image which is HDTV standard as the display image is very remarkable. Also, the touch screen menu is very simply to use and easy to understand "Just put the button and leave the rest to Sony HDR Camcorder Cx7".
At last, i just heard that if you buy Sony HDR Camcorder Cx7 before 31 March 2008, you will get free 8x8 photo book ($29.99 value) See Detail >
